Manuel Silveira Corrêa
Principal Geologist
Manding Tech

Manuel Silveira Corrêa is a geologist, entrepreneur, and thought leader in mining data intelligence, with over seventeen years of experience spanning mineral exploration, economic valuation, and strategic development across Brazil, Africa, and international markets.
Grounded in field and structural geology, he coordinated and executed 200,000+ meters of diamond and reverse-circulation drilling in large-scale iron ore projects such as Colomis (Brazil) and Simandou (Guinea) during his 11.5 years at Vale S.A. His remit covered the full mining value chain—from exploration and resource modeling to M&A, market intelligence, and strategic planning. Manuel is the first Qualified Professional (QPR) certified by the Brazilian Commission for Resources and Reserves (CBRR) in Economic Valuation, underscoring his pioneering role at the interface of geoscience and finance. He also serves as a court-appointed expert (perito) for the economic valuation of mining assets in corporate disputes, producing independent analyses that inform judicial and arbitration decisions.
As founder of MandingTech, an EarthTech company, Manuel leads the transformation of geological information into actionable economic value through AI, data science, and geospatial intelligence. He has spearheaded platforms including ScreenCrawl ANM, Ore to Tech, and TokenCore, which automate valuation workflows and enable traceability and interoperability of mineral data. His recent work includes fostering Brazil–Australia partnerships in mining innovation and advancing frameworks for Mining Infonomics—treating information itself as a priced, auditable asset.
An enthusiastic evangelist of OpenMining—an organic movement inspired by OpenBanking/OpenFinance—Manuel promotes transparency, standardization, and secure data-sharing to accelerate sustainable investment and smarter decisions in mining.
He holds a Geology degree from the University of São Paulo and a postgraduate qualification in Project Management (Finance) from Fundação Dom Cabral. Fluent in Portuguese, English, French, and Spanish, his career embodies MandingTech’s ethos: Born to drill, grow, and know.
