Marcio is the CEO of GeoInovações, a company whose mission is to contribute to the growth of companies in water resource management through environmental modeling, adding value to their products, improving the environment, and consequently the quality of life of people.

His goal is to assist environmental consulting firms in water resource management, working in the management of contaminated areas through the preparation of preliminary assessment reports, confirmatory investigations, detailed investigations, human health risk assessments, intervention plans, basic remediation projects, and mathematical modeling of contaminant flow and transport.

He also develops hydrological models to estimate the behavior of pollutants and sediments in surface waters, and to evaluate groundwater behavior in the face of drawdown from open-pit and underground mines.
